Man chases out of control car circling around another vehicle
This is the bizarre moment a man runs after an electric car, trying to stop it as it spins out of control in repeated circles around a black vehicle following a collision.
Baffled passersby filmed the driver frantically chasing after the white vehicle in the middle of an intersection in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, eastern China, on December 5.
The odd episode reportedly followed a collision between the small white car and the black SUV it circled around in the street.
After the impact, and just as the drivers managed to escape, the smaller vehicle suddenly started moving in a seemingly endless loop around the SUV.
In the video, one of them, presumably the electric vehicle's owner, can be seen trying to get it to stop by tossing a wooden chair he found nearby under its wheels.
But the car instantly crushed the chair and kept circling around.
Seemingly exhausted by that point, its owner made another half-hearted attempt to force it to a halt with what was left of the broken chair.
However, he once again failed and ultimately gave up. Meanwhile, his vehicle kept spiralling out of control until it finally crashed into the SUV and then stopped.
Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported.
