On January 27, 2023, in Shangrao, Jiangxi Province, a peculiar sight was caught on video by a filmer on her way home, a large flock of ducks circling a car on the road.

Along this scenic countryside road, the flock of ducks marched in a neat formation, leisurely around a black car in front of the filmer, as if performing a unique dance.

After a brief while, with the arrival of another car at the side of the road, they departed from the vehicle in an orderly fashion, leaving behind a whimsical roadside memory. Some Chinese netizens speculated that they were perhaps making way for a group of ducklings crossing the road, which added a touch of warmth to the scene.

According to the filmer Ms. Duan, the flock probably went stray on the road and the alpha duck led them to reroute. This mysterious behavior lasted for a few minutes and was interrupted by the honk of a car behind.
