More than a hundred migrants from all over the world hunker down near the community of Jacumba in far east San Diego County.

The migrants walk through gaps in the border wall from Mexico looking for American officials to make asylum claims. They are from places as far-flung as the Middle East and China. And also from Central and South America. Families with children make up a significant portion of the asylum seekers.

This camp is called the Willow Camp and is right up against the border wall in San Diego's high desert. Temperatures are dropping into the mid-30s Fahrenheit (5 Celsius) at night.
