STORYLINE:
Thousands of protesters in Jordan took to the street in downtown of the Jordanian capital Amman on Friday.
Participants chanted slogans in support of Palestinian people in Gaza, calling for an immediate ceasefire to the ongoing war on Gaza since Oct. 7.
Protesters also chanted slogans, condemning the United States for its support of Israeli military operations.
Protesters demanded that the Jordanian government expel the U.S. ambassador in Amman, close the U.S. embassy, and cancel a defense agreement with the U.S.
This marching protest came at the same time when protests were held in different cities in Jordan in support of Gaza.
