A sports meeting has been held recently at a "Happiness Station" in Emin County, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
"Happiness Stations," located on pastures or on the paths traveled by herdsmen during their migrations, provide services and organize activities for herdsmen in pastoral areas.

"In our pastoral area, there are 1,293 herder households and 365,000 heads of livestock. Each year, herdsmen spend about half a year on the winter pasture. We assign personnel to the 'Happiness Station' to provide services for herdsmen and organize various cultural and recreational activities, to enhance their sense of gain, happiness and security."
