Inside a pet hospital in northern China, a fascinating video captured a veterinarian conducting a thorough examination on a year-and-a-half-old turtle named Pangpang.

The video was filmed on December 11, 2023, in the City of Shijiazhuang of Hebei Province.

The veterinarian gently placed Pangpang on a specialized animal CT scanner, where it remained motionless.

With the machine in operation, the turtle lay as still as a human, allowing the doctor to conduct the necessary diagnostic tests.

According to local reports, Pangpang has recovered after more than twenty days in the hospital. Although it is worth 5 RMB, this unusual patient is treated as one of the family members of its owner and she spent over 4,000 RMB on its treatment.
