A large-scale fire broke out in central Wajima City, a tourist attraction site in Ishikawa Prefecture, after a series of major earthquakes hit the Noto Peninsula on New Year's Day, January 1.

The fire continued for over 14 hours, burning more than 100 homes, according to reports.

This video shows the fire that broke out at Wajimazaki-machi in Wajima on January 1st evening after the quake.
