President Milei visited an Argentine base in Antarctica for an IAEA research expedition

The president of Argentina, Javier Milei, has made a visit this Saturday to one of the bases that the country has in Antarctica, from where the first research expedition of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will begin on this continent, his office has confirmed.
"The president, Javier Milei, arrived on Saturday at Marambio Base, where he was received by the station chief, Deputy Commodore Damian Ariel Rizzo; the scientific head of the first stage of the summer campaign, Sergio Santillana; and the official of the National Meteorological Service (SMN) in the unit, Noemi Troche", has indicated.
Thus, he has highlighted in a statement published in his account on the social network X that Milei travels with the general secretary of the Presidency, Karina Milei; the Foreign Minister, Diana Mondino; and the holders of Defense and Interior, Luis Petri and Guillermo Francos, respectively.
