Crowd Bands Together to Retrieve Balloon Hanging From Tree in Southwest China
On January 1, 2024, in Chongqing, a group of people attempted to catch a balloon as it drifted high into a tree, seemingly out of reach.
Despite their attempts, no one could retrieve the balloon. In a heartwarming display of unity, the crowd joined forces and raised a young boy who successfully retrieved the balloon.
On the first day, people gathered in Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street and they released hydrogen balloons to celebrate the New Year; some balloons were bounded by trees.
