A musician from Bijie, Guizhou Province, has stunned the internet by playing an instrument using his ears.

Zhang Xijiang, 49, places a peg to hold his nose before playing a calming melody on an aerophone.

He discovered this remarkable talent when he was just 9 years old. Xijiang said he had very low self-esteem as a child and was laughed at by his peers.

The 49-year-old can also use his ears to inflate tyres, smoke, and blow up balloons.

He claims there is no one else in the world who can play an instrument by using their ears.
