Firefighters Battle 2-Alarm Blaze at Columbia Rising Apartments, USA

On January 23, the 1st Shift crews of the Columbia-Richland Fire Department worked diligently to contain a 2-Alarm fire at Columbia Rising Apartments, situated on Johnson Avenue near North Main Street in Columbia, South Carolina.
The emergency call was received shortly before 2 p.m., mobilizing firefighters to the scene. The blaze, spreading rapidly through the building's roof, prompted on-site officers to escalate the response, calling for a second alarm and dispatching additional units to address the escalating situation.
As of now, there are no reported injuries. The Columbia-Richland Fire Department continues to actively manage the aftermath, prioritizing the safety of all residents and responders involved.
