Motorist labels cyclist 'pathetic' as pair clash over right of way on road in Sheffield
A motorist labelled a cyclist "pathetic" as the pair clashed over who had right of way on a road in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Footage captured by the cyclist shows the biker and a Mini approaching a section of road where several cars were parked on the right-hand side.
"She clearly had no intention to stop, as she was already moving over the middle line markings well before she got to the parked cars. I saw her doing this, and stopped my bike to wait for her to come through," said the filmer.
The vehicle then stops just a few feet in front of the biker and an argument begins.
"I'm just waiting for you to come through love," the cyclist says.
"And you wonder why you get a name for yourself. You've got plenty of room there. You're pathetic," the motorist says as she drives past.
The filmer told Newsflare: "As she drove down, she paused briefly by a space, but given her aggressive driving, and the fact that she didn't leave me a safe distance between her car and the kerb, I elected to stay in my safe position, and let her complete her passage through the gap.
"She then started shouting at me aggressively. I was merely waiting for her to pass. I think she knew she was in the wrong."
