A number of people with disabilities in Makassar came to vote
A number of people with disabilities participated in voting in the 2024 election in the city of Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. One of them is at TPS 005 which is located at the Wirajaya Bina Daksa rehabilitation center, Jalan AP Pettarani, Makassar City, South Sulawesi, Indonesia.
People with disabilities were seen coming to be helped by their families. They voted in the 2024 election, as good citizens.
Especially for residents of the Wirajaya Bina Daksa Rehabilitation Center, there are six people with disabilities who have given their voting rights. Especially blind people vote with the help of their families into the voting booth.
Hj Dahlia, Chair of KPPS said, this is unique because there are people with disabilities. Because coincidentally our location is in a handicapped location. The majority here are people with disabilities.
The challenge is that you have to be patient because many are disabled. Likewise, the blind must choose their companion. There are seven people with disabilities. (*)
