A Washington woman got the surprise of a lifetime when her home security camera captured footage of a large bear trying to enter her home through the doggie door. Amy Holt, who lives in North Bend, Washington. said she was both entertained and worried by the incident.

The video shows the bear approaching the back door of Holt's home and attempting to squeeze through the doggie door, only to find it was too small. The bear then tried to push its way in through the windows but was ultimately unsuccessful.

Holt, who spoke to KOMO-TV about the encounter, said that while it was entertaining, it also made her a little concerned about waking up to find a bear in her bed. Despite the scare, she acknowledged that living in a rural area means encounters like this are a normal part of life.

"We live in a rural area, and encounters are a normal part of living here," Holt said. "It's one of the things we enjoy most about living in North Bend."

Fortunately, the bear eventually gave up and left Holt's property without causing any harm.
