Filmed in Dazhou, southern China, the surveillance footage from outside a family's home captured a woman and her family immersed in the festive atmosphere of the Lunar New Year. Upon hearing firecrackers, she turned to look, only to be unexpectedly hit in the eye by a flying firework known as a "crawling monkey."

The woman stated that her niece's child was the one who lit the crawling monkey firework. Worried that the firecracker might harm the child, she turned to check. However, as she turned, the firework shot directly towards her, hitting her in the eye. She expressed that the pain was intense at the time, but fortunately, apart from a minor injury to her eyelid, there were no major consequences.

2月13日，四川达州渠县，一女子被突如其来的鞭炮击中眼睛。家门口的监控显示，女子和家人正沉浸在过年的喜庆中，听到鞭炮声音她回头张望，突然被燃着焰火的"窜天猴"击中眼部。女子称，放窜天猴的是姐姐的孩子，当时担心鞭炮伤到小朋友才回望。结果一转身，鞭炮就直冲自己过来了，因反应不及被"窜天猴"击中眼部。当时疼痛感很强烈，万幸的是除眼皮有小伤痕外，其他并无大碍。
