On September 20, in Suzhou, Anhui Province, continuous heavy rains caused the river levels to surge, and during a flood discharge in the Tuo River, a docked sightseeing boat lost control and crashed into a bridge pier, shattering instantly.

According to eyewitnesses, at the time of the incident, the water level in the Tuo River had risen significantly. The sightseeing boat, originally moored by the riverbank, broke free after its securing ropes failed to withstand the immense pressure.

The unmanned boat was swiftly carried away by the floodwaters and collided with the bridge pier. The force of the impact was so great that the boat disintegrated in a matter of seconds, with debris scattered into the river.

Fortunately, there were no people on board at the time of the incident.
