Farmer's agitation entered its fourth day on Friday, with protesting farmers facing teargas at the Punjab-Haryana Shambhu Border, as security forces tried to disperse them. This comes after the third round of negotiations between Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the heads of the farmer unions and Union ministers Piyush Goyal, Arjun Munda, and Nityanand Rai concluded in the early hours of Friday.

Farmers from Punjab are camping at the Shambhu and Khanauri borders of Punjab and Haryana and are aiming to reach Delhi to force the Centre to agree to their terms. However, they have said that no fresh attempt to move ahead will be made till the meeting is held. The next course of action will be decided based on the outcome of the meeting on the 18th Feb.
