In a remarkable display of engineering prowess, a snowblower machine was captured on video bravely battling the aftermath of a severe snowstorm on the Interstate 80 motorway in California. The intense cleaning operation took place near Kingvale in Nevada County on the 3rd of March.

Facing treacherous weather conditions, the hardworking crews of Caltrans District 3 were met with challenges as blowers struggled to withstand the severity of the storm. "Part of the difficulty crews are facing during this storm is blowers breaking down due to the severe conditions," the organization shared in a statement.

The situation was dire as the district revealed, "We have been down to 2 of 10 blowers at our central hub in Kingvale and 6 out of 20 from Auburn to the Nevada state line." Despite these setbacks, the dedicated team continued their efforts to clear the motorway for safe passage.

Unfortunately, due to the extensive cleanup required, the interstate will remain closed until further notice as crews work tirelessly to restore normalcy.
