This is the amusing moment locals revived an ancient relic, the 'Bench Dragon,' to use it for the Chinese New Year.

The Huang family dismounted a large dragon attached to the top of the wall in the attic of their house to use the relic for the dragon dance in Jinhua, Zhejiang, China, on February 3.

Footage shows the male members of the family carrying the dusty dragon and restoring its former glory.

Local people were seen carrying the dragon to perform the dragon dance to wish the community a happy new year.

The 'Bench Dragon' is a cultural relic that originated from the Han Dynasty. It was used for the traditional ritual of praying for rain to the Dragon King in ancient times.
