Thousands of Russian expats queued for as long as four hours to cast their ballot papers at the Kensington embassy (March 17).

The queue made up of voters supporting all candidates measured over 0.6 miles stretching from the Russian Embassy building down along Bayswater Road.
It took the filmer eleven minutes to reach the end.

Many pro-democracy supporters waiting in the line were draped in the alternative Russian blue and white flag, holding anti-Putin signs and placards - while one man was even playing the flute.

Yulia, Alexei Navalny's widow urged Russians to descend on their polling stations in a 'Noon against Putin' protest. It is hoped that mass voting will strain the system and be a show of defiance.
