Gang strikes school: robbery of $9,469 unveiled in southern India

Two members of a notorious gang targeted a school in southern India’s Telangana.

The incident took place at World One School in Hyderabad on March 16.

Visuals showed at midnight, two thieves, clad only in their undergarments and with their faces obscured by dark cloth, stealthily infiltrated the school premises. With silent steps, they navigated through the corridors until they reached the reception area. With cautious movements, they began to pilfer items, their clandestine activities shrouded in the shadows of the night.

According to reports the two members of the notorious “ChaddiGang” (underwear gang) targeted World One School located in Miyapur, Hyderabad, in the wee hours of Saturday. The brazen criminals made off with a staggering ₹7,85,000 (USD 9,468.65) in cash from the institution’s counter.

Local authorities swiftly responded to the scene, with the Miyapur police promptly registering a case and launching an intensive investigation. Key evidence, including footage captured by the school’s closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras, is being meticulously analyzed to trace the culprits and bring them to justice.
