SOUNDBITE 1 (Chinese): KONG JIANYE, Business manager of Horgos Hong'an International Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd.
"After the train with potash fertilizer enters the country, the Horgos Customs will swiftly inspect and release the goods. The potash fertilizer train we are handling is expected to arrive at Chengdu Chengxiang Station within a week. This year, we have already facilitated the import of over 11,000 tons of potash fertilizer on six trains, with a total trade value of nearly 4 million U.S. dollars."

To facilitate the seamless customs clearance of spring farming supplies, various departments, including Horgos Customs, the railway authority, and border inspection, have joined forces. They have optimized the transportation organization model and implemented a proactive approach to addressing any challenges encountered during the clearance process.

SOUNDBITE 2 (Chinese): QIU JU, Horgos Customs officer
"At present, it is an important period for spring plowing. Horgos Customs is continuously optimizing the clearance procedures, establishing a 'green channel' for agricultural resources needed for spring plowing. Inbound trains carrying these spring farming supplies are subject to priority inspection and checks upon arrival to ensure that these resources quickly reach the domestic market."
