Firefighters have successfully brought under control a raging blaze that engulfed two industrial warehouses late Thursday evening in Aielo de Malferit, Valencia. The inferno, which posed a significant threat to the local industrial sector, was contained by around 7:00 AM on Friday.

Authorities from the Valencia Fire Consortium reported that although one team from Alzira remains on-site to fully extinguish any remaining flames, the fire did not spread to a third warehouse, thanks to the swift and coordinated response of emergency services.

Throughout the night, a total of eight firefighting teams from Alzira, Ontinyent, Xativa, Oliva, and Catarroja, along with supervisory personnel, worked tirelessly to combat the blaze. Despite the intense efforts, one warehouse suffered extensive damage, with a portion of its roof and walls collapsing.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, with authorities commending the collaborative efforts of the firefighting teams in preventing further devastation and ensuring the safety of the surrounding community.
