A woman claims she developed psychic powers after being diagnosed with cancer and has spoken to famous names - including Princess Diana.

Gemma Lonsdale, 40, says she had a spiritual awakening after she was told she had breast cancer in 2018.

She began asking "deeper questions" of herself, as well as getting "signs from the universe" - where she felt she could sense future events."

She started using Tarot cards - and began connecting with spiritual voices, which grew stronger and stronger.

Gemma said over time she could connect to specific people - and has even spoken to the late Princess of Wales.

She says Diana sent her messages which suggest that there is "a scandal to come" - which may see the King abdicate."

Gemma said: "I connected to her on the situation with Kate - she wanted to protect her kids and to protect Kate."

"She went on to talk about Charles - she was wagging her finger at him, telling him off."

"She showed me him taking his crown off like he was abdicating, but she didn't show me why."

"She’s not given me the inside information on what’s to come - but there's definitely a scandal to come about."

Gemma said she began to enter a "spiritual depression" after her first bout of cancer in September 2018."

She began feeling like she was getting "signs from the universe" which got stronger and stronger."

She said: "I remember sitting on the bus one day, thinking 'wouldn't it be odd of these two people next to me both got off at the next spot?' and they did."

"There were coincidences, but so many in a short space, it started making me question things."

After a second bout of cancer in 2021, she began asking deeper questions about herself and the universe.

She eventually bought some Tarot cards to see if she could connect to spirits.

After a couple of months she started getting "messages" - which went from odd words to full sentences."

She began to connect to specific people - starting with Patrick Swayze - but could only connect to people who had passed away.

She said: "Chester Bennington from Linkin Park came too, and it was never my intention to connect with him."

"I knew who he was but I thought he was from Papa Roach - he corrected me himself."

But Gemma, who is now cancer-free, doesn't only connect to fallen stars - she also uses her spirituality to help people.

She charges £165 an hour for a Zoom session to help people to understand problems in their lives - or connect with loved ones.

She said: "I've helped people with their healing - it's incredible."

"It could be to do with relationships they have with their parents, old relationships and understanding why they've been triggered by trauma."

"It's about helping people understand why they have the patterns and reactions in relationships."

"I also spoke to a woman and warned her she would struggle to get pregnant."

"Six months later she messaged that she was recovering from surgery after doctors found her fallopian tube was blocked."

The spiritual messages Gemma receives can often be so strong she has to ignore them completely because it "can be addictive."

She said: "It can be very tempting to ask more than what you need, or information that won't give me the best experience."

"It can become addictive - we’re not supposed to have all the answers."

"I could ask 'is this person a good match for me? Should I date him?' but I force myself not to - I go out and date him and have a human experience."

Gemma now does psychic readings and teaches mediumship and says she wants to use her gifts to help others reach their loved ones.

Gemma, from Tyne and Wear, said: "I communicate with spirit in my thoughts."

"The spirits bring me the information in a number of ways."

"I see, hear, feel, know, and I get physical sensations, and tastes."

"I also see spirits and symbolic imagery."

"I have a spirit guide I connect to, but I can connect to anyone who comes forward."

"I can speak to celebrities, but the messages are more important than the person that delivers them."
