Black road looks red after century-old traditional Holi festival in India

Roads which used to look black appeared red on Holi, a traditional Hindu festival of colors in India.

Fireman and workers of municipal council splashes water on a road to remove red gulal (colored powder) a day after historical Badshah Fair Holi in Beawar city of Rajasthan.

Traders and shopkeepers also cleaned red powder from their shops in city market.

Approx 250 ton or 226796 kg colored powder was used in Badshah Fair Holi.

Locals has been following this tradition for the last 173 years.
