In northeast China, a father danced with his 5.5-year-old daughter by the roadside after picking up her from school.

Video filmed on March 13 in Shenyang, Liaoning shows the girl excitedly running towards her father, tossing her school bag aside, and beginning to dance with him.

After dancing for a while, they both got into the car together and drove off.

The father explained the reason behind their little ritual in local reports. Due to her introverted personality, she was not proficient in social interactions when the girl was younger.

Being skilled in dancing himself, he devised this method to help her become more confident and outgoing. As they dance in public, attracting onlookers, the child has now grown accustomed to the attention and no longer feels nervous about it.
