This footage was filmed and produced 28 March 2024.

At approximately 13:53 on March 28, 2024, an unexpected guest made an entrance at a bank in Lockhart, Texas. A deer, in a bizarre turn of events, crashed through a window into the Bank’s Community Room, adjacent to the drive-through facility at 120 W San Antonio St. According to reports, the bank's tellers were alarmed by the crash and rushed to investigate, discovering the deer desperately attempting to find its way back outside.

Efforts to coax the animal out proved futile, leading authorities to intervene swiftly. Lockhart PD and Animal Control responded promptly, assessing the situation and determining that the deer, though injured, did not sustain severe injuries. Consequently, a decision was made to guide the deer out through the building's door.

The incident briefly disrupted traffic on San Antonio St, a bustling thoroughfare, as authorities safely escorted the deer back to its natural habitat. Remarkably, despite the chaos, no human injuries were reported, with the deer being the sole casualty of the unexpected intrusion.

Randall Till, Executive Vice President and COO of the bank, expressed relief that no individuals were present in the Community Room at the time of the incident. Security footage capturing the deer's unexpected visit has since surfaced, providing a glimpse into the peculiar event that unfolded.
