Mother curls girl's hair using leaf stalks of cassava
A Thai mother used leaf stalks from a cassava plant to curl her daughter's hair.
Ampan Somtua captured the woman skillfully adding stalks to a child's hair to create the stunning curls in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, on March 11.
Footage shows the doting mum strategically knotting the stalks to serve as DIY hair curlers for the child. Moments later, Ampan showed the result after removing all the stems.
The young girl proudly displayed her luscious, long, curly hair on camera with a smile.
Ampan said: 'This is how we used to curl our hair in the 90s, and it was exciting to try it again with kids today.'
