Beijing has entered its first peak period for poplar and willow catkins, with parts of the city experiencing scenes reminiscent of snowfall.

The video filmed on April 13 shows an electric three-wheeler rider continuously wiping away willow catkins that are blowing onto his face.

These fluffy catkins are filling the air, easily entering eyes, noses, and mouths. Additionally, when they land on skin, they are causing allergic reactions among some residents.
