A police officer borrowed a teen's bike during his pursuit of an on-the-run suspect in Rotherham, UK.

During the pursuit, the driver engaged in erratic behavior, including reversing down 60mph roads, speeding at 80mph in a 30mph zone, and driving against traffic flow around a roundabout, before eventually crashing and fleeing the scene.

Undeterred, the officer focused his efforts on apprehending one of the two suspects involved in the incident. With the assistance of a bystander who offered his bicycle, the officer swiftly mounted the bike and pursued the fleeing suspect on foot.

After a tense chase, the suspect was cornered and detained in a nearby garden on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle. Further investigation revealed that the car in question had been stolen the previous week from the Nottinghamshire area, with the detained suspect also implicated in a robbery where £90,000 worth of jewellery was stolen.
