USA: US Coast Guard Rescues Sailor and Dogs Near Whales Head Beach, Oregon

In a daring rescue operation off the coast of Whales Head Beach, Oregon, the United States Coast Guard (USCG) sprang into action following reports of a sailing vessel in distress.
According to official reports, the vessel had lost power and was rapidly taking on water approximately 38 nautical miles west of Whales Head Beach. With time ticking away and the situation growing increasingly dire, the USCG wasted no time in mobilizing their resources.
Air Station North Bend swiftly dispatched a helicopter to the scene, where they found the vessel struggling against the unforgiving elements. Amidst the chaos, the Coast Guard crew executed a precision helo hoist, plucking the lone individual on board along with their two canine companions to safety.
