Unusual rescue: Highway CPR for heat-stunned pig in China
In a video filmed on May 1st, 2024, An unusual resuscitation scene unfolded on a highway in Hubei Province, where the owner was performing CPR on a pig.
The filmer Ms. Zhong explained that the owner had bought two breeding pigs to take home for the holidays, but highway traffic jams combined with high temperatures caused one pig to pass out from the heat in the trunk.
The owner thus brought the pig to the side of the road and began CPR in an attempt to resuscitate the pig. As Ms. Chung was leaving, the owner continued to resuscitate the pig and it was not clear what the outcome of the resuscitation was.
