In Paris on Saturday, Chinese think tanks released a report entitled "Chinese Modernization: the Way Forward," introducing the process of Chinese modernization and highlighting its global significance.

Commenting on the report, experts have hailed China's modernization process, believing that it has provided an alternative approach to development.

"China is a historical example because the capacity of the Chinese economy has lifted millions and millions of people out of poverty. It's a phenomenon, I would say, that has no precedent in history.
