A group of kind-hearted people lifted a car up together to free a woman trapped underneath in eastern China.

The heroic CCTV footage was filmed in Jinan City in Shandong Province on May 9.

A woman got trapped under a vehicle after being struck. Quick to react, a bus driver of Jinan's public bus route K171, Zhang Lianxu, along with more than 10 kind-hearted passengers, rushed to the scene, orchestrating a heartwarming rescue mission.

Recalling the dramatic events, Zhang remarked, "I was driving the bus when I noticed a vehicle ahead with hazard lights blinking. The driver requested assistance, mentioning someone was trapped beneath the car and needed help lifting it. Without hesitation, I immediately rushed over to lend a hand. Several passengers also disembarked from the bus without hesitation, joining the efforts."

Despite their combined strength, the weight of the vehicle proved challenging to lift. However, passing taxi drivers, food delivery riders, other motorists, and compassionate citizens swiftly converged to offer their assistance.

Zhang continued, "Close to 20 people gathered to lift the car. It was a scene of solidarity and unity. In less than a minute, we successfully rescued the individual."

According to reports, the trapped pedestrian remained conscious throughout the ordeal. Following her liberation, she was promptly transported to the hospital, where she was declared out of danger.

济南公交K171路驾驶员张连绪说：“当时就是我正在行驶公交车，然后看到前面有个车开双闪，车辆司机说需要帮忙，车底下有个人，要抬车，当时一听就立马过去抬。（几个乘客）从公交车上当时一块下去的，也没喊，开门之后直接全下去了。
由于私家车较重，众人尝试后难以抬起，这时，路过的出租车司机、外卖小哥、私家车司机、热心的市民也都围了上来。
张连绪说：“抬车差不多快20个人，把那儿都围满了。差不多也就是不到四五十秒吧，就把人救出来了。”
据了解，被压在车底的是一名女子，脱困时神志清晰，而后被迅速送往医院，幸无生命危险。
