Heroic firefighters rescue driver buried under goods after transport three-wheeler crash
Firefighters rescued a driver buried under the goods that fell from a transport three-wheeler after it slid down into a garage and crashed into a wall in eastern China.
The CCTV footage was filmed in the city of Lianyungang in Jiangsu Province on September 18.
A motorised three-wheeler entered a car park through the entrance and accelerated directly toward the wall at the end of the underground ramp. The immense impact deformed the front of the vehicle, forcing the driver to scramble out of the cab. However, the driver was then buried beneath sandbags, bricks, and other debris from the cargo, with the situation becoming increasingly dire.
The rescue team swiftly initiated their intense rescue operation. While providing reassurance to the injured driver, they used their bare hands to carefully remove the sandbags and bricks one by one, ultimately managing to free the trapped driver.
After several minutes of tense and organised efforts, the injured driver was successfully rescued. Subsequently, they were transferred to the hospital for further treatment via an ambulance, with no life-threatening injuries reported.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
