At a seminar held in Islamabad, Pakistan on Wednesday, experts said China's remarkable economic and social transformation over the past few decades has offered new opportunities for global growth.
The seminar was titled "Transformation of China's Economy to Quality Growth Model: Opportunities for Pakistan."
Talking to Xinhua on the sidelines of the event, former Pakistani Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani said China sets an example of rapid modernization with valuable lessons for countries like Pakistan.

"This high-quality development initiative that China has taken, I think there are many lessons that Pakistan can learn. Pakistan can also learn from the Chinese expertise in these areas, whether it is the technological advancement, whether it is base technology, whether it is the overall developmental cooperation that exists between the two sides."
Experts also said China's switch from high-speed growth to high-quality growth injects a new impetus into the global economy and opens new avenues of socio-economic development for countries including Pakistan.
