A mother bear and her cubs ate from bird feeders on a family's front porch.

CCTV footage shows the black bear mum rummaging through the container and throwing it to the ground so her four babies could share it in Michigan on May 11 evening.

The family ate together with the little ones sniffing for scraps on the floor before they went back to the forest.

Despite the adorable scene, experts warned residents against interacting with them to avoid conflicts.

They said that cubs that are regularly exposed to easily accessible food sources near human homes risk becoming used to human presence, paving the way for future conflicts.

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources estimates there are over 12,000 black bears in the state, with most concentrated in the Upper Peninsula.
