It is extremely hot all over Bihar. Nalanda district is facing the brunt of extreme heat these days.

A temperature of 44 degrees Celsius was recorded in Nalanda on Thursday. But a temperature of 55 degrees Celsius was felt on May 31, Friday.

The number of patients in Sadar Hospital is increasing day by day. So far in two days, 22 people have reached Sadar Hospital for treatment due to heat stroke.

The last phase of Lok Sabha election voting is to be held on June 1 during the scorching heat in Nalanda district. For this, para military forces have also been called from outside the district.

Due to the scorching heat, three paramilitary soldiers engaged in election duty became victims of heatwave. Two soldiers have been admitted to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for treatment while one soldier is undergoing treatment at Kalyan Bigha Health Centre.

Regarding this, Nalanda District Magistrate Shashank Shubhankar said that to deal with the extreme heat in Nalanda district, heat wave centers have been made in all the hospitals of the district. Everyone is being treated there. Apart from this, arrangements for benches have been made for the people.
