Mountain lion roams through homes in Milpitas, California
A mountain lion was seen roaming through homes in Milpitas, California.
CCTV footage shows the big wild cat jumping over fences and sniffing around the front porch of properties at the Friendly Village Mobile Home Park in the early hours of May 29.
Milpitas Police officers searched the area, and upon residents' reporting the sighting, they deployed drones with thermal imaging technology to find it.
But the elusive lion continued to evade them, leaving the officers and wildlife authorities on high alert.
The officers reminded residents to stay indoors, including their pets, and to avoid approaching the animal and call the authorities if it was seen.
