Felled trees crush parked cars and block traffic after storm
Trees fell onto cars and motorcycles, blocking traffic after a storm in China.
Footage shows the extent of damage with vehicles including motorbikes, bicycles, sedan and SUV crushed below the felled hardwood in Beijing on May 30. Drivers whose motorbikes were spared were seen evacuating from the area.
Some of the vehicles were reportedly parked in undesignated spots when the storm happened.
Police helped ease traffic as one lane of the road was impassable, while rescue officers helped clear the trees.
Authorities reportedly helped with repair and replacement of the units of affected drivers.
