This is the nerve-wracking moment cars dodged an out-of-control lorry on a winding mountain road.

Three sedans were travelling along the curved highway when the oncoming red lorry, moving in the opposite direction, skidded across the road in Guizhou Province, China.

Dashcam footage shows the heavy goods vehicle scraping the rear of the first black car on December 18.

The drivers of the following two cars reacted instantly, steering sharply to the right and avoiding the swinging trailer by mere inches.

The vehicles managed to navigate away from the skidding lorry before eventually coming to a halt.

The drivers, visibly shaken, then stepped out of their vehicles to inspect the damage.

No one was reported injured in the incident.
