Chefs at the Uzbek Food and Culture Festival cook an astonishing one tonne of rice to make plov, a special dish with carrots, lamb and spices for visitors to the event near London's Tower Bridge (June 8).
Long queues were seen as the plov was proving popular with visitors as chefs were kept busy with all stages of the food preparation.
