Police capture most-wanted man after high-speed collision and chase in Darlington, UK
In a dramatic turn of events on the outskirts of Darlington, UK in June 7, authorities captured Aaron Drummond, a 25-year-old individual from Southend Avenue, after a high-speed collision and ensuing chase. Drummond, listed as a dangerous driver on the police's most wanted list, attempted to evade arrest after crashing a white Ford Transit van into an innocent motorist at a staggering 80mph.
Law enforcement officers swiftly pursued Drummond, who attempted to flee the scene by scrambling out of the vehicle's window. However, their efforts culminated in his apprehension and subsequent arrest on Friday, June 7th.
Drummond faced an array of charges, including driving while disqualified, dangerous driving, and driving without insurance. Following his appearance before magistrates earlier this week, during which he pleaded guilty, Drummond has been remanded in custody. His sentencing is scheduled for July 8 at Teesside Crown Court.
