Doctor finds human finger in ice cream cone ordered online in western India

In a shocking incident in western India's Maharashtra, a doctor discovered a human finger in an ice cream cone that his sister had ordered online.

The incident took place in Mumbai on June 12.

Visuals showed the scary human finger poking out of the half eaten ice cream.

According to reports, the incident occurred in Orlem in the Malad area, where Dr. Brendan Ferrao, half-eaten his ice cream when he felt something unusual on his tongue. Upon closer inspection, he found a human finger embedded in the dessert.

Speaking to the Newslions, Senior Police Inspector of Malad Police Station Ravindra Adane said that Dr. Ferrao immediately reported the discovery to the police. Authorities confirmed the presence of a human finger in the ice cream and have registered a case against the manufacturer, Yummo Ice Cream Company. The police sent the finger to the Forensic Science Laboratory for further investigation and will also inspect the company's manufacturing and packaging facilities.

The police are treating the matter with utmost seriousness, emphasizing the gravity of the situation.
