Trawler Crew Rescued In Dartmouth - Fuel Spillage Feared

The crew of the French Trawler "Saint Christophe" were rescued as it capsized at low tide. The trawler had taken shelter from the recent rough seas and storms in Dartmouth UK with other vessels.
The trawler is carrying 10 to 15,000 Litres of fuel which is at risk of leaking and contaminating the sea and River Dart. Oil booms have been put in place and pollution control contractors are on site. Dive teams are working around the clock to stabilise the ship and pump out the fuel safely
