The Dartmouth Steam Railway begins its Christmas Train of Lights passenger service which runs until 30th December 2023. The festive illuminated journey starts at Queen's Park Station at Paignton in Devon, where the train with vintage carriages decorated with thousands of lights, both inside and out, begins its journey to Kingswear. Festive lights also decorate the route with dispalys at Churston Station and at an enchanted forest after leaving Greenway Tunnel. The stunning show ends as the train leaves the forest only to be greeted by the twinkling lights of Dartmouth reflected on the river Dart. At Kingswear, the passengers have the opportunity to disembark and take photographs from the platform before they re-board and head back to Paignton to experience the spectacle from a different direction.​ The footage of the train shows its arrival and departure from Kingswear.
