Reports of possible tornado damage swept through Martin County Fire Rescue's dispatch around 10:42 AM on June 12th. According to initial assessments, the storm surged southeastward, carving a path from Edwyn Court and Federal Hwy to Bridge Road, and finally South Beach Rd and Angus Trail, covering approximately 1.5 miles and leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

"We received reports of significant damage along the storm's trajectory," said a spokesperson from Martin County Fire Rescue. "The Winn Dixie on Bridge Road and several other businesses in the shopping center sustained damage. Additionally, one home in the Anstis Place neighborhood behind the complex was affected."

The tornado's impact was particularly visible along Bridge Road, where numerous trees were uprooted, blocking access to Jupiter Island. Efforts are underway to clear the debris and assess the Hobe Sound Drawbridge, although initial reports suggest no structural damage that would impede marine traffic.

"Our priority now is to ensure public safety," the spokesperson added. "Crews are working diligently to upright fallen trees and secure the area, a process that may extend into the next day."

Initially, the tornado left approximately 37,000 residents without power, though utility crews have since reduced the number of affected customers to around 1,700. Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries resulting from the storm.
