Chinese man detained for indecent act towards woman over noise complaint
A man was detained for his indecent act towards a woman over a noise complaint in southern China.
The incident was recorded in Nanchong City in Sichuan Province on July 9.
A woman, residing on the first floor, had long endured disturbances from a late-night food stall below, severely affecting her and her family's rest. Finally reaching her limit, she opened her window to politely remind the stall to lower its volume.
However, a male diner, identified as Mr. Du, not only responded rudely with his language but also dropped his pants and provocatively danced in front of the woman. This distressing scene left the woman feeling disgusted and uncomfortable, prompting her to immediately call the police.
Upon receiving the report, the police swiftly intervened and launched an investigation. On the evening of July 10, they issued a statement announcing that Du had been administratively detained for his use of vulgar language, provocative actions towards the woman and her family, and serious disruption of public order.
