Albanian youth Sara Dervishi is studying at China's Shanghai Jiaotong University.

She also works as a docent at the Shanghai History Museum, telling stories about the city.

"My Chinese name is Lu Haiyan and I'm from Albania. I have lived in Shanghai for about 12-13 years. Initially, our university filmed a series of videos to introduce cultural relics and I worked as a narrator for it. Later, our college and the Shanghai History Museum jointly launched a long-term cooperation project on the promotion of cultural relics from the perspective of foreign students. Since I had related experience, I got the chance to work as a docent here."

Sara Dervishi is one of the foreign students who were selected to engage in the Shanghai History Museum City Guide project.

The project aims to provide a new perspective towards understanding the city of Shanghai through the eyes of overseas students.
