Despite the tense situation in southern Lebanon, Aley, a city in Mount Lebanon, kicked off its annual Summer Festival. The festival began on Friday evening and will last for four days.
Local farmers and merchants sold their goods at the market, while local artists showcased their works. Daily live music concerts also drew large crowds of visitors from across the country.
